A little about us…

Keys Café & Bakery was opened in 1973 by my grandma in the beautiful St. Paul. It has since then grown tremendously over the years, but at the heart of it, we are still very much a family owned business. I started working at Keys when I was 14 years old, my parents now own several locations, and today I manage a few of our cafés and bakeries.

Over the years, I also found a real love for baking, creating, and bringing someone’s vision to life. Weddings quickly became one of my biggest passions because there is something so special about getting to create desserts for such an important day.

As I began planning my own wedding, I realized how difficult it can be to find clear, straightforward information when it comes to wedding cakes and desserts. I wanted to create something simple and streamlined for couples, a place where you can easily explore your options, feel inspired, and know exactly who you are working with.

We truly love all things revolving around love, and being a small part of someone’s wedding day is incredibly special to us and our bakery team. Planning a wedding has also shown me firsthand just how important communication is and how much it matters to work with vendors who genuinely care about your day.

Our bakery team is made up of several incredibly talented bakers, each bringing their own creativity and experience to the table. From wedding cakes to full dessert displays, we love creating something that feels unique to each couple. Everything we make is homemade, made from scratch, and created with quality ingredients and a whole lot of care.
